Terms of Service

Welcome to HazRide. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HazRide mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Hazdor Solutions LLP ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading, or using the HazRide app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via SMS.

2. Description of Services

HazRide is an intelligent carpooling and ride-matching platform connecting riders with drivers in Pakistan. Our Services include:

  • Carpooling: Scheduled shared rides where drivers post routes and riders request seats.
  • Instant Rides: On-demand ride matching for immediate pickup.
  • Ladies-Only Rides: A dedicated option for women riders matched exclusively with verified women drivers.
  • Payment Processing: Facilitation of ride payments through JazzCash, EasyPaisa, in-app wallet, or cash.

3. User Accounts

To use HazRide, you must create an account using a valid Pakistani mobile phone number (+92XXXXXXXXX). Account registration requires OTP (One-Time Password) verification via SMS.

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and phone number.
  • You may not share your account credentials or let others use your account.
  • One account per phone number. Duplicate accounts will be suspended.
  • Driver accounts require additional verification: valid CNIC, driving license, vehicle registration, and selfie verification. Documents are reviewed by our admin team.

4. Ride Policies

The following policies govern all rides facilitated through HazRide:

  • Ride Confirmation: A ride is confirmed when the driver accepts the rider's request or the request is auto-accepted by the system.
  • PIN Verification: Riders must share a 4-digit PIN with the driver at pickup. Drivers must verify the PIN before starting the ride.
  • Cancellation: Rides may be cancelled before departure. Excessive cancellations may result in account penalties.
  • Ride State Flow: Rides progress from active to in_progress to completed. Drivers control ride start and completion through the app.
  • Ladies-Only Rides: These rides are restricted to verified women. Gender is verified through CNIC data. Violations result in immediate suspension.
  • Passenger Conduct: All users must behave respectfully. Harassment, threats, or unsafe behavior will result in permanent ban.
  • Maximum Seats: Vehicles have defined seat limits (1-7 depending on vehicle type). Drivers must not exceed the available seats.

5. Payments & Pricing

HazRide uses transparent distance-based pricing. The following terms govern all financial transactions on the platform:

  • Base Fare: PKR 14.7 per kilometer with a minimum fare of PKR 100.
  • Platform Fee: 12% of the ride fare. Drivers receive 88% of the fare amount.
  • Surge Pricing: During high-demand periods, fares may increase up to a maximum surge multiplier of 2.0x.
  • Payment Methods: Cash, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and in-app wallet are accepted. Wallet can be topped up through supported mobile wallets.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds are credited to the in-app wallet.
  • Driver Payouts: Drivers receive weekly payouts to their registered payment method (JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or bank account).

6. Safety & Compliance

Safety is fundamental to HazRide. All users must comply with the following:

  • Drivers must maintain valid driving licenses and vehicle registration at all times.
  • Drivers must keep their vehicles in safe operating condition.
  • All users must comply with Pakistani traffic laws and regulations.
  • The SOS emergency feature must not be misused. False emergency reports will result in account suspension.
  • Users must not engage in any illegal activity during rides.
  • HazRide cooperates with law enforcement agencies and may share ride data in response to valid legal requests.

7. Limitation of Liability

HazRide is a technology platform that connects riders with drivers. We are not a transportation company and do not employ drivers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HazRide shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Drivers are independent service providers responsible for their own conduct, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with traffic laws. HazRide facilitates the connection but does not guarantee the conduct of any user.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time:

  • You may delete your account through the app settings or by contacting support.
  • HazRide may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraud, safety concerns, or any other reason at our discretion.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Outstanding payments or wallet balances will be handled according to our refund and payout policies.
  • Account data is retained as required by law after termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
